by noontime well into the 60s to mid 70s upper 70s by afternoon highs then the fog comes back, should be pleasant for the evening, inland east bay starting out with numbers in the 50s, the dense fog, especially around our east bay this morning, visibility less than two miles by noontime sunshine, a few high clouds, numbers into the 80s above normal, still a sea breeze late in the day then high fire danger through thursday. first, hopefully an easy morning ride. so far, so good. we have the fog as an issue especially on the coastal areas golden gate bridge you can see a bit of fog here in patches as lisa was mentioning you come up on it fast, so take it easy this morning traffic flowing nicely across the golden gate bridge no metering lights at bay bridge patchy fog on the span headed into san francisco a bit of a delay for cash paying folks headed into the city many

patchy fog bay bridge thick fog carquinez, same story with the richmond san rafael bridge most of the bridges with the exception of san mateo bridge experiencing fog. if you are headed out now drive times over the altamont pass highway 4 westbound and east shore commute into the bay bridge. this morning, contra costa county deputies trying to figure out what led to a deadly double shooting that left a man and woman dead it happened in -- between pittsburg and antioch deputies arrived to find the man already dead and woman suffering from gunshot wounds paramedics rushed her to the hospital where she died. no word on their relationship or possible motive for the shootings. amy hollyfield is live at the sheriff's department and she will be live at 6:30. 49er fan recovering from serious injuries after getting stabbed near candlestick park

yesterday before the game investigators say two men approached a 27-year-old elk man headed to the game that lead to a verbal confrontation. one of the men stabbed the man in the torso and the neck. police arrested the suspects a short time later. san francisco's city leaders can find out today if the 49ers' new stadium is super enough to host football's biggest game. cornell bernard is live at the new site in santa clara. >> reporter: good morning. the new billion dollar stadium is quickly taking shape behind me. imagine the super bowl being played here in the next five years that's what the 9ers and city of san francisco are hoping for as they find out later this morning if it is in the running to host the super bowl in 2016 or 2017. the nfl requires the host team plays two full seasons in the stadium to qualify.

bay area teen charged with trying to kill a mill valley couple and steal a celebrity chef's lamborghini is expected to learn whether he will stand trial today. max wade is charged with seven felonies, police say he stole chef guy fieri's lamborghini to impress a girl then shot at her and her boyfriend after she rejected him. it is up to a superior court judge to decide whether there's enough evidence to put wade on trial. 19-year-old student in stable condition after falling three stories and hitting his head on the pavement. it happened on beverly drive in rohnert park. police say tyler glen fell on to a white fence yesterday morning after hanging from the balcony they say alcohol was definitely involved. >> the subject indicated he had been drinking i can't indicate how much. he where not going to a

survey of 44 leading economists predicts the nation's jobless rate will creep back above 8% in the coming year. the survey predicts growth will be weak over all but pick up a little next year right now the rate is 7.8%. starting today facebook will be disabling facial recognition featuring europe, the feature scans photos and suggests the names of people to tag them. that feature is being turned off in europe because of privacy concerns. facebook says it willment will bring back the function once it complies with rules. buyers of tablets that run windows 8 are in for a pleasant musical surprise they will be able to pick from millions of sopblss and dream them for flee as long as they put up with an audio app every 15 minutes it is not offered

then quickly that fog returns look at our inland east bay numbers, this morning cool with dense fog high relative humidity, 70s, near 80 noon, by 4:00 into the mid 80s you too will see the fog return tonight offshore flow takes over as soon as tomorrow. 6:32. double shooting that left a man and woman dead that is under investigation in contra costa county. amy hollyfield joins us live. >> reporter: deputies here in martinez have a mystery. not only have they not made any arrests, they don't have leads, they don't have witnesses. it appears two people were shot to death and no one saw a thing, except for the killer or killers. this happened at about 5:25 yesterday afternoon. this was in an unincorporated area of contra costa county between pittsburg and antioch. it was on buchanan and

ventura. a man was found dead at the scene. a woman had been shot but was taken to the hospital she later died this at about 8:30. police got the call there were shots fired in the area but say no one was available to -- no one said they witnessed anything. investigators with the sheriff's department will be working hard to solve this case today. at this point, it doesn't appear they have much to go on. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. :33. new this morning, from oakland, -- 6:33, new this morning from oakland, officers found a man with gunshot wounds before 1:00 this morning he died at the hospital. investigators are on the scene now. no word about a possible suspect or motive. san francisco should find out later this morning whether it is in the running to host the 2015 or 2017 super bowl.

the city has put in a bid to host in the bay area which would be played at the 49ers' new stadium in santa rosa. nfl requires any host team play two full seasons in the new stadium to qualify. with the stadium opening in 2014 it would make 2016 the first year san francisco would be eligible. if the city passes this morning's first round, it has to submit a six-figure plan by may 7th. this thursday, 49ers game day here on abc 7. at 4:00 jerry rice and brent jones join us for the pregame show. followed by 49ers taking on the seahawks. after that jerry and brent will stick around for a special edition of after the game. 6:34. bart service back to norm --
